Santa Fe by Beirut
For me this record was my most anticipated of 2011. I’m a huge Beirut fan. Musically, The Rip Tide, is more simple than Zach Condon’s earlier albums. Santa Fe is a stand out for me and it incorporates trombone, trumpet, accordion and a nice beat. Love it. Plus the song is about his hometown and all the nostalgia wrapped up in it. I know how he feels.
